Common questions

Does everyone need the app?

No. The people you invite join from a link in any browser. For yourself it’s worth it: the free iPhone and Android apps run full screen, save photos straight to your camera roll, and notify you when someone changes the plan. A browser does none of those three.

Can we download the photos, or do they only live in the app?

They’re yours to keep. Anyone who was on the trip — Travelers and Photos-only alike — gets a “Download all photos” button on the recap page that pulls every original as a zip, in a browser or in the app. A single photo saves straight to your camera roll from the app, or downloads on the web. People you only sent a recap link to, and anyone set to View only, can look but not download — that’s deliberate.

Can I share the trip with people who weren’t on it?

Yes. Once the trip is over, create a recap link — a read-only, photo-focused summary of the whole trip — and send it to anyone. They don’t need an account, don’t take a traveler spot, and can’t download the originals. Turn it off any time with “Revoke link.” If you’d rather share the plan than the photos, that’s a separate “Create plan link.”

Do we need a password?

No. Signing in needs an email address and a short code, every time.

How many photos does each person get?

100, and it’s the same on every plan — plans scale by how many people join, not by photos. Anyone who runs low can buy more room for themselves in the app. Photos only for now; no video.

Can someone help me plan, not just view?

Invite them as Co-host. Only the trip’s creator can grant it, and only by email.

Can I change someone’s access later?

Any time, from the Members tab.

What if nobody opens the invite?

Emailed invites expire after 7 days — send it again. QR codes and links work until you turn them off.

Where do I change the language?

The globe icon labelled “Language” on your Profile page or in the Account menu. English and Spanish. What your group writes — names, notes, captions — stays as they wrote it.
